There's no way out of this so let's stay in

Hola! A lot has been up. Again. Christmas, New Year, travel, adulthood, driver's license... The list is long.

Anyhow, let's start with the most amazing: I'm finally officially an adult! Yay. And I have a driver's license! I can drive as much as I want now (and as much I can borrow my parents' car...). I'm so happy. We spent Christmas abroad for the first time ever, and I liked it. We went to Dubai, it's like a one big DisneyWorld. It's all built there in the past fourty years. And it's BIG. We spent Christmas shopping. Haha.

When we came home we celebrated my birthday. Then it was New Year. Nothing special there. I got my license, and for the rest of the break I've been chilling and doing absolutely nothing. Oh wait, I did do something. Well, technically, I didn't. My friends organised this surprise birthday party fo me. I loved it, I've never had one before.

I went to the movies today. Alone, for the first time ever. I was just making a quick stop at the city centre and came up with the idea. I decided to go, and while waiting I did a little shopping and enjoyed a hamburger. It was fun, doing something spontaniously. I never do anything spontaniously. I saw New Year's Eve. Just perfect for me. Even New Year's Eve was already. I can dream about the next one!

Well, that's pretty much my Christmas break in a nutshell. Nothing extraordinary there. Pretty extra oridinary. Haha. As if that was any fun.

But, there's something that annoys me, yet again. I've been listening to All Time Low from Youtube. I haven't really used Youtube too much before. I've preferred Spotify. Well anyhow, I couldn't help noticing a huge amount of comments with the same content: "Thumbs up if you knew about All Time Low before Dirty Work came out." Seriously? Will people ever get over that? And yes, I did. I can't say I've known the band for too long, but when I first heard them I went crazy. But I don't think I'm anyway better than others.

It's the same with all artists. Someone has heard about them before they became famous. And why does that have to be something to be proud about? Like someone once said: "Being a fan is not about being there from the start. It's about being there until the end." I found Taylor Swift when I first heard Love Story from the radio. That doesn't mean I'm a bad fan (though I can't exactly define myself as one, but that's not the point; I'm not a big fan of anything, or anyone), does it? I'm getting sick of people who think they're superior to others just because of that.

Other comments I found were about how All Time Low was much better before they became famous. People stop being fans of a band or an artist when they become famous, because "they're not good anymore". And that's being a loyal fan? I don't think so. People get annoyed when something that they thought was their own, personal thing, suddenly is something the whole world knows about. And before that was the case, they did anything they could to let the world know. That's something I'd call hypocrite.

Anyhow, I'd better get some sleep since it's school tomorrow.

Here's an oldie but a goodie. It's so true. And brilliant.

Another quote I wanted to include here, but I couldn't find a nice picture, and don't have time to make one myself:
I am nobody.
Nobody's perfect.
Therefore, I am perfect.

With these words, good night. And the title:

I just don't wanna miss you tonight

Hello again. I'm surprised I ended here after only one day since my last post. Funny.

I'm still way too tired. And as it seems I won't get enough sleep tonight either. I guess we never learn. But, I had a nice day today. I saw a few friends, ate delicious homemade gingerbreads (not by me or anyone in my family, though), did schoolwork, prepared our trip to Dubai, dreamt of my Interrail-trip and watched a movie. Though I didn't have time to finish it.

You know, watching Love Actually is like one of the best Christmas traditions ever. It's just one of those movies you have to watch once a year, just before Christmas to get the feeling. Love Actually + chocolate = Perfection! Seriously. Better than anything.

Though I'm kind of sad 'cause I missed my chance to chat with my crush. I sent him a message but I thought he never answered. Actually he'd answered right away, but stupid Facebook-chat didn't work and I only noticed it half and hour later. By that time he'd left. Sucks.

Anyhow, tomorrow I get to sleep late since school starts late! Yay! I have to pack though, and read physics, but still. It's a late morning. Then it's school and work, home and sleep, school, work, and departure! Can't wait. This is going to be so cool!

Anyhow, see you. Probably after Christmas. Maybe next year. And I'm going to be an adult then!

I know I tend to get so insecure

Hey. A lot has happened. Well, actually, nothing has happened. I'm feeling really confused and weird right now.

I've been really busy with work for the past two weeks. I've had time for school and work and that's it. Not exactly something to jealous for. I've been stressing about all the things I should do and feeling I'm drowning in everything. And my life really isn't that bad.

It's just that I've got way too much work for school. We've got the final exams coming in March, and studying has already started... Hate it. And I haven't had time so I'm already falling behind. Yay. I've been really tired and feeling hungry all the time (though that's pretty normal for me...). I've also got my driver's license tests coming in two weeks. I should go to the bank and finish all school assignments before Tuesday. But then it's finally holidays! And we are heading to Dubai. That's all I'm looking forward for right now.
I've been feeling so tired. All I want to do is dream about my future (i.e. to figure out what I want to do!) and watch TV and do absolutely nothing at all. I watched an episode of Glee last week, and seriously, I almost cried. It was one of the best ones ever. Seriously. I wish I found that guy some day. I got over my teenage-crush. But still, whenever I hear that "bling" on Facebook I rush to see who sent a message. And smile goofily or get disappointed.

This is honestly one of the best romantic scenes in TV. Ever.

Anyhow, I think I'm going to bed now, as I haven't been sleeping quite enough lately. And I should've gone to bed quite a bit earlier in order to do that tonight.

P.S. Maroon 5 - She Will Be Loved. An oldie but a goodie. Been on repeat lately.

Young and sweet, only seventeen – having the time of your life

You know what? This time I have lots of stuff to tell you! Finally.

I've had a busy few days. We spent the midsummer in Åland, the island in the middle of Finland and Sweden. We had fun, we cycled and enjoyed the holiday. Though my bicycle tire (Or do you call it a tire in a bicycle? Well, anyway.) went empty when we were leaving and I had to walk my bike to the ferry. And when I got home I had to take the bus with the bike. Quite an experience.

On Monday I had to take my sisters bike to work as my parents were away and I didn't know how to fix my tire. But, as I was adjusting the bike I sort of broke a screw and the saddle didn't stay up anymore. Oops. Then I had to take my mum's bike.

Well on Tuesday we were fixing the tire all day, as it didn't turn out that easy. First we had the wrong kinds, then we tried to patch the tire, but it didn't work out either as I broke it again after five kilometers while biking to the city. I took pictures for my driver's license. Horrible ones. I seriously almost cried 'cause the picture is so bad…

After work, at around 9pm my brother called that the others (as in my mum, my dad and him) had gone kayaking and I should go too. And so we did, and it was so much fun! It really made my bad day. When we returned home my parents drove to the city centre to a grill kiosk and we bought this thing that has french fries and sausages, and then cucumber salad (you know?) and then mayonnaise and such stuff. It's so good. There are just no words.

Well today we were again fixing my bike, and in the end when I came back from work I noticed now my front tire is empty. Just my luck. Well, but today I went swimming and then to a picnic with a friend. I also burned (again!) but tanned too. Now I have stupid tan borders (I don't know, again, whether that's what they're called, but you get the idea) though. But I'm not complaining as long as the weather stays like this.

But now I have to go, I have to make a card to a friend of mine who's turning eighteen. Yay.

A random picture but I love the Finnish archipelago.
And the title, as life really feels good now: ABBA - Dancing Queen

I'm so excited and I just can't hide it

Hi. I'm so excited. Haha.

I bought the Harry Potter -premiere tickets today! Yay. I'm not really that crazy about Harry Potter but for once in my life I wanted  to do something stupid (and yes, I do reckon going to the movies at midnight is slightly stupid). And well, how many chances I have left to go to a Harry Potter -premiere?

Also, it's midsummer this weekend. Well not exactly, but I believe that's what it's called. And I'm going with a friend of mine and some of her friends to Åland, the big island between Finland and Sweden, just so you know. I can't wait.

That's pretty much it for now!

Bonfires, yay.
And the title, as if you didn't know: The Pointer Sisters - I'm So Excited.

You look like you're lots of fun

Hello again. Once again, I won't have much to say.

I just pulled an all-nighter the other day night. It was fun. We had this big competition thing which went over night and we stayed up all night following it. It was cool: it wasn't raining and not too cold! It was darkish (or close) only for an hour or so around two, and then the day began lightening up. I love the summer here as it is barely dark at all. It's definitely something worth experiencing.

So on Sunday I went to sleep at 7.10, slept badly for about three hours, then we left home and "slept" for ten minutes in the car. I can never sleep in the car, which is pretty annoying. Soon I'm off to work, can't wait for the rainy weather to end so I can do something.

I've been dreaming about an InterRail all summer, I'm actually planning on going next spring. Can't remember whether I've written about that before. I've been staring at maps and reading books of where I want to go. I've planned to start from Portugal, then head to Madrid. I'm not really that much into big cities but you'll get the idea of where I want to go. After Madrid I'd like to head to the eastern coast, catch a ferry to Ibiza (just a quick stay) and then a ferry to Barcelona. From Barcelona I'd head, following the coast line, to Monaco. I'd also like to visit Lake Garda in Italy, and then via Austria to Prague, then through Germany, Denmark and Sweden back home.

Anyhow, I gotta rush now so. I'll be writing again soon, hopefully with something to actually write about.

Here's a random video, but the song's so cool. It's so 80's and lifts your spirits. Try.

Yeah, and the title: Dead Or Alive - You Spin Me round (Like A Record). Another 80's song. But still. The video is hilarious.

Maybe it's all around to see if we try

Hello again! It's summer and I have nothing to do. I'd love to go traveling and so but I have to work. Though my work only starts at 5 pm so I have the days time to do whatever I want but I can't really go anywhere. Besides, I've already manages to burn my back, lips, nose, and now my thighs and legs. Yeehaa.

Anyhow, I has nothing much to say (as always) and I just wanted to share this. The third season is starting tomorrow (!! finally) and this came out today. It's probably one of my favourite scenes ever, and believe me, I have seen a lot of romantic comedies.

And as Blogger ruined to quality I'll link the video too here.

That's all I have now. See ya all!
P.S. The title: Shiny Toy Guns - Season Of Love. What did you think?

Vamos a la Playa

Hola! It's summer, finally.

School ended on Saturday and now we've got two and a half months of freedom. Jealous? Thought so. I start working tomorrow. Nothing more now.

I'm going to go enjoy my holiday in the sun. And the weather forecast for the week. Almost 30°C (86°F). Haha.

And the title: Righeira - Vamos a la Playa (that video is definitely worth watching). Or whichever artist you prefer.

I got me a bouncy feeling

Back in business! Had a busy week last week.

On Thursday we left to a sort of a camp, we had a competition on Saturday and it was far away so we left early. We had so much fun. It was so relaxing, we didn't have too much to do and not too much people which suited me so well.

On Friday we visited Koli quickly, and what can I say, the view was incredible. Just check it out yourselves.

I was beautiful. On Saturday we had the competition. It wasn't that great but still. The forest was so cool. In the evening we cooked chicken wok with the girls. It was so good, like the best food I've ever cooked. I haven't cooked too much food though.

On Sunday it was time to pack and return home. The bus ride was l-o-n-g (we left at 9 am and were home at 9 pm). We watched Sound Of Music (love it, Julie Andrews is awesome!). It just makes you so cheerful, such a lovely movie. The we played card and such. The bus was so hot, it was like a sauna. It was such a beautiful day, it was a shame to sit in the bus but no can do.

I lost my voice over the weekend, but now it's returning. I suppose that's all I had to say this time. It's raining today, but it's so green outside! Exams start on Wednesday and there's two weeks school left! Then it's SUMMER.

And I just had to title the post with this:

I just love it. The Finnish version is better though. The video is for the Finnish song so it's sort of dubbed, that's why the lyrics don't match with what the dude is saying. It's from this sketch show, and he's making the voice really. It's not edited. My favourite part:

I got me a bouncy feeling,
don't throw me to the ceiling and
turn me into a modern painting.

Some may say I look just like an fat 'n bouncy ping pong ball!

This is what dreams are made of

Thought it'd be about time to continue my challenge.

Day 11 – Your dreams

Well, to be honest there are many. Shallow ones and less shallow ones. Right now my biggest dream is traveling. I want to travel around the world and see all the different places. I know, not so unique, but it is what I dream about. A year backpacking abroad – yes please!

I have decided (well, decided and decided, but strongly committed to anyway) to go to an InterRail next year. I've been reading all these books and everything, and it's something I could actually afford. I mean, if I won in the lottery or so I'd take a gap year and take a round-the-world trip. For sure.

So traveling is pretty much the be-all and end-all (just learned that today and had to use it here) for me. And I am going on an InterRail next year after school's over.

Apart from traveling there are many other things I dream about. I want to have a summer romance, be in a proper relationship, get an own computer, find something I want to study when I go to university, turn 18 and drive a car, find a lovely apartment (and preferably a cheap one), get a good job, travel (again), study a year abroad as an exchange student (in university), visit the South Pole, visit Africa, have a family, live in a beautiful place near the city...

The list is endless, and I'm going to kill you if I'd start listing everything up. There are so many things I'd want to do (probably the same with everyone). Some of my dreams are shallow and silly and just dreams and fantasies that are fun to play with (such as meeting Taylor Lautner near my house and become friends (or more) with him and then he'd buy all this stuff for me and pay for an extreme makeover (or not so extreme, but well you know) and clothes and tips how to do this and that to look better (in an easy way)). Then some of them are not so shallow as I really want to fulfill them. Like the traveling part. It's number one on my list.

Places I'd really like to visit some day:

  • South Africa, and then maybe some other African countries, to see what living there is actually like
  • Egypt, to see the pyramids
  • Greece to see the temples and other things
  • Southern France
  • UK and Ireland, Scotland (Loch Ness!), London
  • Spain and Portugal as I never been there and really want to go
  • Australia and New Zealand, the Great Barrier Reef and the Pacific islands
  • South Pole
  • Niagara Falls, Grand Canyon, New Work, Los Angeles (Hollywood!), Las Vegas, Yellowstone, .......... (I want to take a road trip across the States and visit like all of the states (Texas!))
  • Tokyo, India (Taj Mahal), China (Beijing and the Great Wall)
  • South American rainforests, Brazil, Mexico
So, there are a few.

Sorry about the title. But I just had to. And the song reminds of my childhood. So forgive me.

Today was a fairytale

Haudi!

Today has been and will be pretty much a perfect day. Love it.

First me and my mum went out for nordic walking, and despite the rain it was lovely. It has been so dry here recently that a little rain won't hurt, vice versa.

Then we went to this student restaurant and ate lunch, it was cheap and neither of could bother making any food home so. Then we went to the store and bought everything to keep us alive tonight (Eurovision!). Chips, drinks, ice cream etc. Can't wait.

Now I've been chilling a while, a friend of mine is coming over and we're gonna watch TV for a while (it's this  sports thing) and then go eat to some restaurant (again!). Can't wait that either.

I'm going to keep you updated how it's going.

Light a match under my paper heart

Hey. It's been a while. Once again. Surprise surprise. We had a wonderful weekend in Estonia. The weather was beautiful and we had fun and life's good.

I watched the Fast Five today. You know the newest The Fast And The Furious film. It was so awesome! Though I haven't seen all the previous ones (I've seen the third one, I think), but it was great anyhow. Loved it.

I also watched Erin Brockovich yesterday. Loved it too. I can't help it but Julia Roberts definitely is one of the best actresses of all time. She's great.

Didn't have much else to say. No wait, actually I did. It's Eurovision tomorrow! I actually think that our song Da Da Dam is quite good. Not to mention that Axel Ehnström (alias Paradise Oskar (okay, maybe the other way around...)) is p-r-e-t-t-y cute.

What I'm slightly sad of is that Latvia didn't make it to the finals. The song was really catchy, I likes it a lot. The lyrics were a little, umm, well you know, but otherwise. And to be honest you can't really hear that well what they're singing about, not the best articulation in the world. But still.

One thing I'm really surprised of is that Sweden is such a big favourite. I mean, their song's catchy and all, but it's just all the same as everything nowadays. Basic. Same with UK. Ireland's funny, love Jedward.

And one thing still. I thought we'd finally get the third season of Gossip Girl. But no. They're only showing the second one again.

But anyhow, gotta rush now. And the title: Tyler Ward - Paper Heart. Love him also.

Live your life and stay young on the floor

Hello. I'm going to Estonia tomorrow. Can't wait!

Enjoy your lives.

Tallinn

Tartu

Random. Haha.

P.S. The title: Jennifer Lopez feat. Pitbull - On The Floor. As if you didn't know.
P.P.S. I don't really like that song. It's just so similar to all the other songs nowadays.

There's more to life than just ...

Hey. It's Vappu this weekend. It's a festival (for those of you who didn't know). And I'm going to Sweden, there's a big competition this weekend.

I don't know why, but I hate it when people have shout out loud that they're going to party. I mean, there's more to life than just partying. And I just don't understand why does it all have to be about drinking and getting drunk. I never have understood it. It makes me feel like there's something wrong with me because I'm not that into it. And people treat you like you're mental unless you don't drink. I just can't explain it.

I just feel I'm missing out something, because people don't want sober people to hang around. Why? How does it bother them? I'd like someone to explain. Thankfully I have friends who agree with me and prefer hanging out without alcoholic beverages. And besides, now that everyone is turning 18 and I'm not, they're just going go to the disco where I can't go due to my age. Fun.

Anyhow, I'm going to enjoy the trip and beautiful (hope so!) weather. Everyone have a nice weekend, I'm off to Sweden! And the title: Jonas Brothers - Hold On.

If time was still the sun would never find us

It's time to change.
Welcome to my new, improved blog. Published by me, Sophia.
In the future I'll be telling more about myself. No more secrets.

Enjoy.

I’m no beauty queen, I’m just beautiful me

Hey people. It's been a while. Again.

Recently I've occasionally felt really empty. One of the reasons is that everyone – and I mean everyone – is turning eighteen. And, well, guess twice who is not. I hate being born in the end of the year. Imagine being born between Christmas and New Year. Most people are born between New Year and Christmas. Well, I'm not.

I've been trying to prepare myself to this year for a long time. This is the year when everyone in my class, most of my friends, everyone is turning eighteen. It's not like I'm one of those people who like to get drunk and wasted, but still. I want to drive a car, don't want to read from every single job ad that we want our workers to be over eighteen. Screw regulations.

I just feel like I'm missing out of something. Everyone else is getting their driving licenses. I'm not. Everyone else is going to a club just enjoy and have fun because they're allowed to go there. I'm not. I mean, how am I different to the others? Why can't the regulations be like everyone born this year or something. That everyone born in 1993 would get the rights to do things at the same time. I'm just as mature as other people in my class. So why can't I drive?

It just really, really bugs me. It doesn't feel fair. I feel like a kid with everyone else. They don't have to ask for rides everywhere. They can go to the supermarket and buy a beer if they feel like it. It's just not fair.

Besides, I feel like my life is so lame anyways. I never do anything, don't go out with my friends. Maybe because I can't because I'm NOT eighteen. I still have to wait, what, eight months and five days. I feel like my life doesn't have a purpose right now. It's just basic school stuff. Graduation is next year, then I want to move to a place of my own and start living my own life. Right now I feel like my parents guard everything I do. On summer though I have at least a week that I can stay home alone, I want to do something wild. To feel alive.

Another thing might be the fact that I just watched the movie Never Been Kissed. It reminded me so much of myself. I've never had a boyfriend or a relationship and never kissed anyone. I'm not bullied or anything but still. I'm seventeen. Sometimes I feel like I want my life to change. Something new to happen.

But enough of angst now. It's spring and the weather's absolutely beautiful. It's all these stupid movies in which everything is possible and miracles happen and everything that make my life feel so worthless. Guess miracles don't happen in real life. Anyhow, this post sounds much more depressing than I mean. I just can't do anything without exaggeration.

So, to sum up, I am pretty happy with my life. And the title: Selena Gomez & The Scene - Who Says

I love it. The lyrics speak to me. Not in the way that someone's mean to me and bullies me, but in the way that you make your life perfect if you want it to be so. And I love the video.

I wouldn't want to be anybody else.
I’m no beauty queen, I’m just beautiful me.
You’ve got every right to a beautiful life.
Who says you’re not perfect, who says you’re not worth it?
Who says you’re not pretty, who says you’re not beautiful?

Here's a couple of pictures (weheartit.com) that I felt like sharing.

P.S. I. Want. To. Travel.

I'll be making history

So, continuing the challenge:

Day 10 – This week

Well, this week has been quite basic. Some school, practice and so. But, maybe a slightly closer look would do.

Monday: Monday was a short day in school, only three hours (love it). I didn't do anything special: watched Brokeback Mountain for the first time ever (another classic I've wanted to see for a long time but somehow never did), went running and that's pretty much it.

Tuesday: Long day at school (til 16.00). Later we had practice – which was perfectly awesome, by the way – and surprise surprise watched TV. I've been watching Event with my mom now that it recently started here.

Wednesday: Again, school from eight to four. Sucks. I was really tired and just did nothing.

Thursday: Once more, school from eight to four. Practice in the evening. We cycled there, for the first time this spring. The snow's finally melting, thank god! There's only snow in the forest now.

Friday, i.e. today: School from ten to 11.15 (again, love it!!). Then I came home, my grandparents came over and my grandma cut my hair. Then I went to the city centre, had a job interview there. Then I came home and went running, and for the rest of the day just enjoyed life.

Saturday, i.e. tomorrow: Nothing's up. Have no clue what I'm going to do. Nothing much. Maybe go shopping for new running shoes.

Sunday: First competition of the season. Can't wait! I'll let you know how it was when I have time – I'm working again for three days next week – and so.

Well, that was it and I have nothing else to say this time. Have fun!

And the title, one of my favourite songs of all time: Plain White T's - Hey There Delilah

Monday, 11 April 2011

I want someone to love me for who I am

This is really what I feel like right now. Dunno why. But the song's great and the lyrics are even greater. Didn't have much more to say. Enjoy.

I want someone to love me
For who I am
I want someone to need me
Is that so bad?
I want someone to love me
For who I am

Nothing makes sense,
nothing makes sense anymore
Nothing is right,
nothing is right when you're gone.
I'm losing my breath,
I'm losing my right to be wrong
I'm frightened to death,
I'm frightened that I won't be strong

I want someone to love me
For who I am
I want someone to need me
Is that so bad?
I wanna break all the madness
But it's all I have
I want someone to love me
For who I am

I'm shaking it off,
I'm shaking off all of the pain.
You're breaking my heart,
breaking my heart once again

I want someone to love me
For who I am
I want someone to need me
Is that so bad?
I wanna break all the madness
But it's all I have
I want someone to love me
For who I am

I want someone to love me
For who I am
I want someone to need me
Is that so bad?
I wanna break all the madness
But it's all I have
I want someone to love me
For who I am

Yeah, who I am.

P.S. Thought there wasn't going to be a title post? There's always a title post. But this time: If you seriously didn't get the title, think again.

All my life I've been good but now I'm thinking: "What the hell"

Hello. It's been a while. I promise I'll try to be a little more active now that spring is coming and I can see the first signs of life...
Anyhow, I decided to continue with the challenge. Here you are, your welcome.

Day 06 – Your beliefs

Ah well. My beliefs. This, I must say, is a tough one. I had to really do quite a bit of investigation to make up even these ones. But, here we go.

I believe...

... that everything happens for a reason. I know it might sound classy or lame, but I really do. I don't believe there's any "bigger force" guiding us, but I do believe everything has a reason.

... that being yourself is the only way to happiness. Hypocrisy is worst. If you're really you, you'll find people who respect who you are.

... that modern "ideals" should be forgotten. Ideal looks, ideal style, ideal life, ideal this and that. As if we all should be made of the same form and we all should fulfil certain expectations. If one wants to be good at school and be successful, let them. If not, big deal.

... that everything is achievable if you really want it. Work for your dreams and you'll be rewarded.

... that being alone is one of the best things in the world. And no, I'm not saying people around you wouldn't be important. But really: some time alone every now and then is really good for you. You can do whatever you wish – dance, sing, scream or just watch TV or surf the net. Doesn't matter.

... that what the hell. All my life I've been good but now I'm thinking: "What the hell." All I want is to mess around. But honestly, I just need to be a little crazy. Seriously. This is so what I feel like right now. I want to do something crazy, just have fun and enjoy, and forget everything I should do.

So there are a few things. This whole belief-thing is such a broad topic that it's really hard to think of stuff. But yeah. And, unless you didn't realise, the title (and the stuff right there in the last "I believe"-part): Avril Lavigne - What The Hell. She's just awesome. Got some attitude.

Standing on the rooftops, everybody scream your heart out

Hello everyone, I'm back from the dead. I've been crazy busy for the past few weeks, and, surprise surprise, now I'm sick. I had fever last night, but no fever today (?). Not feeling too great anyway. But, as I'm kinda tired and so, and I have absolutely no idea what to write about, I decided to continue my challenge.

Day 05 - A Moment

Okay, so I decided to bring up a moment which happened a couple of years ago, autumn 2008 to be exact. It was the national championships, and relay. I had hurt my knee the day before, and it was all swollen. I was very nervous.

Well my performance wasn't exactly the best, and I wasn't feeling good about it. I thought I had done a bad job. But when I got the exchange, I heard I was at the top with a bunch of other teams, not far behind the leading one. I went to the shower, and when I came back I heard we had changed third. Though the girl on second leg was almost crying because she wasn't happy with her performance either.

So we went to the finish line, very excited. We knew we stood a good chance to even second place. So there we were waiting. Then, all of a sudden we heard another team start screaming. We thought that alright, here come the winners. But, when she came around the curve, we saw our team a few steps ahead. It was absolutely surreal. We - the national champions. That moment is a definitely memorable one, and one of the greatest ever. I can't describe the feeling then.

Anyhow, I'm tired, and I going to see whether there are any good movies somewhere in the house. So the title: lostprophets - Rooftops.
P.S. It's holidays again, ha ha. A whole wonderful week of absolutely nothing to do.
