How can we dance when our Earth is turning

I've got a huge problem. I reserved tickets to the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows premiere!!!! Haha!

But, the server had problems during the day and I didn't get the seats I wanted to, and now I ended up having five different reservations to both 2D and 3D-shows, and I can't choose between two different seats in the 2D-show or three different seats in the 3D-show: a big hall (or whatever it's called, can't be bothered thinking at this hour) or a small hall? How does 3D-look like in a small hall. I'd prefer a 2D-show though.

Anyhow, these are my big problems. The title: Midnight Oil - Beds Are Burning. It's supposed to explain how I'm excited and can't concentrate on anything. But it really doesn't. But who cares.

Maybe it's all around to see if we try

Hello again! It's summer and I have nothing to do. I'd love to go traveling and so but I have to work. Though my work only starts at 5 pm so I have the days time to do whatever I want but I can't really go anywhere. Besides, I've already manages to burn my back, lips, nose, and now my thighs and legs. Yeehaa.

Anyhow, I has nothing much to say (as always) and I just wanted to share this. The third season is starting tomorrow (!! finally) and this came out today. It's probably one of my favourite scenes ever, and believe me, I have seen a lot of romantic comedies.

And as Blogger ruined to quality I'll link the video too here.

That's all I have now. See ya all!
P.S. The title: Shiny Toy Guns - Season Of Love. What did you think?

Look at you tonight, so beautiful under these neon lights

Questions... I'm bored.

If you could live in any home on a television series, what would it be?
Ahh, I really don't know. No, I do. As lame as it sounds I'd switch houses with Hannah Montana anytime. I love the house!

What's the longest you've gone without sleep?
I can't say exactly, little over 24 hours I'd guess.

What's the habit you're proudest of breaking?
Not stressing about school anymore. I'm so proud I've managed to get my mind in state that I don't care anymore. And it doesn't mean my grades are any worse than before.

What's your favorite website?
Again, as lame as it is, I have to go with Facebook. I don't use it that much and never talk to anyone there and it never works properly but still.

What's the best bargain you've ever found at a garage sale or thrift store?
A few times I've found shirts with original price of 30 € for 5 €. I'd say those.

Where were you on September 11, 2001?
At school. I was only seven at the time and I remember my dad coming home and switching on TV saying I heard this from the radio. I didn't exactly get it at the time and it didn't really affect me in any way.

If you had to be named after one of the 50 states, which would it be?
Texas. It sounds so cool.

If you could travel anywhere in Africa, where would it be?
Anywhere. I'd like to go to South Africa.

Have you ever been stung by a bee?
No, actually I haven't. Lucky me.

What's your favorite form of exercise?
Varies from time to time. When I haven't done something in a while it feels good but soon I'll get bored again.

Are you afaid of heights?
I used to be, but I'm over it. Not completely, but I'm not that afraid anymore.

Have you ever taken dance lessons?
I've done folk dancing. Haha. But it was actually quite fun. The team spirit is really great.

If you could go to Disney World with any celebrity alive today, who would it be?
Aah, I don't know. Taylor Lautner.

Do you prefer baths or showers?
People don't really bathe here. So yeah, showers.

What's your favorite breakfast food?
Pretty much anything goes.

If you could have a super power, what would it be?
I've been wondering this from time to time. It's really hard to decide. But I've ended up that if magic counts as a super power that'd be it, as you can do pretty much anything with it. But if not, then I'd have to probably say teleporting.

Name five songs to which you know all the lyrics. (Better yet, sing them.)
There are many. I have a good memory.

What's the longest you've ever waited in line?
For around a few hours, like in amusement parks.

Have you ever taken a picture in one of those little booths?
No I haven't. I really, really want to though.

What does your name mean?
Means "wisdom" in Greek, according to this.
Uses "both eyes to see" the world and a wifey type that can make a man satisfied. Cook good, look good and feels good, according to the Urban Dictionary. So yeah.

How old are you? How old do you wish you were and why?
17. I want to be 18 so I could do more stuff. Wouldn't always have to miss everything for not being of age.

Where are you now?
On the computer, surprise surprise.

Do you like it where you live?
Yes, in fact I do.

What is your natural hair color?
Blonde.

What color is it now?
Slightly blonder due to the sun. Haven't dyed it.

If you could have any color of hair in the world, what would it be?
Red. I love naturally red hair.

Biggest crush ever?
Well certain occasions. I remember once, five years ago I had this huge crush on a guy three years older than me. I used to stalk him in school to use every chance I had to get near him. Now I just laugh at it. I was so young and stupid. Haha. But I've had crushes, some of them have lasted for a long time.

Are you teacher's pet?
No. I'm good at school (I'm not bragging but I'm not going to pretend I'm not) but I never participate in class or anything. So I'd say no.

Are you popular?
Not really. I don't know anyone who's actually popular.

How would you describe yourself?
Difficult. I'm a dreamer but never do anything to achieve my dreams. I'm a romantic but not on the outside. I just dream about romantic dates and so but in reality I don't know if I'd really enjoy them. I want to be cooperative but in fact I just want to do things my way. I want to be independent but I always ask for advice. And I'm not going to continue, I suppose you got the point.

Are you shy?
Sort of yes but no. Like I said, I'm complicated.

Are you paranoid?
Yes? And no.

Do you like to party?
Not really.

Do you like to be alone?
Yup, I enjoy spending time all by myself. Really. No irony there.

Do you believe in God? Anything else?
Nope. But I like to believe there's a bigger power guiding us, and everything happens for a reason. Classic, I know, but it's true.

Yet another random pic but I love sunflowers. They're pretty.

I don't know what to say

This is going to be, for a change, a post in which I actually have something to say. Nothing important, but anyhow.

There's this one thing that has been annoying me lately. You know when people girls upload photos of them in Facebook (or wherever) and everyone always has to comment "omg you look se pretty<3<3<3<3<33<3<3<3" and then they have to comment back "no i don't i look like shit you're the one who's pretty". That's actually two things.

Why do people always have to write the youaresopretty-comments to each other? I mean, yeah, when someone actually  has a nice photo you can comment if you have something to say. But I'd think it'd get sort of annoying when someone gets like a hundred comments to their picture from their friends. It's just so pretentious. People comment when they want to pretend to be "good" friends. Maybe not always but generally that's the case.

But what annoys me even more is the people who answer back that "no i don't you're just saying i'm ugly". Oh yeah right. If you think you look ugly in the picture then why the hell did you upload it. It's just so hypocrite. All they want is more people commenting that they're pretty. And that's when you end up with dozens of comments. All it'd take is a simple "thank you".

It's random, yeah, I know.

But enough of this. I started working today, was fun. There was this other girl too who started to day and she was even more lost than I was. Quite an achievement. But it was good to have someone else to be lost too so I didn't feel so stupid repeating the same questions over and over and over again. Besides the guy who was instructing us (and will be for the whole week) was good-looking. A few (or more) years older than us, I'd say maybe twenty-two (EDIT: He actually is twenty-two, he said that today) or something and probably gay. I don't know but you know he seemed to talk only to girls and dresses well and sounds like gay. I don't exactly know how you can define someone sounds gay but, well, he just sounds.

I work so you can get your pretty letters. Haha.

That's all for now I guess. My grandparents are staying over cause my parents are visiting St Petersburg. It's really sort of frustrating. Grandma is just stressing about everything and I can't go anywhere cause I have to help her here and to stuff with them and blah. And it's only been one day. Well, three more and then I'm as free as a bird and will have that two months of freedom I've been waiting for.

Now I'll head to bed, continue my book and eat some chocolate. I missed the Gossip Girl -episode today. Sniff. But the third season is off next week. I also consider starting to watch O.C. which I've never watched but the re-runs begin next week too.

But now I'm going. The title: Taylor Swift - The Story Of Us

P.S. They've started selling Starbucks chilled coffees over here. I've only had time to taste Seattle Latte. And I don't like coffee, but I liked it. Maybe I'm growing up. Haha.
EDIT: Now I've also tasted Aztlan Mocha Latte Chocolate Flavour. Not that good.

My other project over the summer is to taste all the Ben & Jerry's flavours we have here. The range is not nearly as big as on the other side but still. We have, what, 14 flavours according to the Finnish webpage, quite a bit smaller than your over 60 or so.

And can you believe we only got Vitaminwater here only this year? Not that I'm that interested on them. But still. Now I'm really going.

Say "I am wonderful"

I have to share this. I absolutely fell in love with this song while watching Eurovision, and so did probably many, many others. I've heard it before but never actually realised what a great song it is.
Just listen to the lyrics. Absolutely beautiful.

The person that you were has died
You’ve lost the sparkle in your eyes
You fell for life - into its traps
Now you wanna bridge the gaps
Now you wanna bridge the gaps
Now you want that person back

And all your ammunition’s gone
Run out of fuel to carry on
You don’t know what you wanna do
You’ve got no pull to pull you through

Say “I am”
Say “I am”
Say “I am wonderful"

Say “I am”
Say “I am”
Say “I am wonderful"

If what you’ve lost cannot be found
And the weight of the world weighs you down
No longer with the will to fly
You stop to let it pass you by
Don’t stop to let it pass you by
You’ve gotta look yourself in the eye

Say “I am”
Say “I am”
Say “I am wonderful”
Oh you are

Say “I am”
Say “I am”
Say “I am wonderful”

'Cause we are all miracles
wrapped up in chemicals
We are incredible
Don’t take it for granted, no
We are all miracles
Oh we are

Say “I am”
Say “I am”
Say “I am wonderful”
Oh you are

Don’t take it for granted, no
We are all miracles
wrapped up, yeah we’re wrapped up
Oh we are wonderful

Oh well. The title: Gary Go - Wonderful.

P.S. There's the ice hockey championships final going on. Finland vs. Sweden, like the dream game ever. Too bad I'm not into hockey. Never have been. I'm thinking about going to break my principles and go watch. I don't know.

Underneath the starlight there's a magical feeling

Day 09 – What's in your bag

This, I must admit, won't be too long a post. As there's nothing in my bag. I'm not one of those people who really use bags anyways. I've got one gray bag I use whenever I go somewhere public.
At school (and no, I don't count school as public...) I use a rucksack. I'm much more of a rucksack-person anyways. They're much more comfortable than bags. But as in to the topic, in my rucksack I have a pencil case, calendar and a calculator. And my keys. So nothing much there. Sorry to disappoint you.

Nothing much going on right now. I watched this movie called "John Tucker Must Die" today. Not really that great, but I remembered how much I love Penn Badgley. Well, more of his character in Gossip Girl. But still. I'm in a really dreamy mood right now, I feel like anything could happen. Anyways, I'm busy so I got to rush. Hope my next post will be slightly more informative. Got an exam tomorrow, wish me luck!

And the title: I also watched Coyote Ugly today, and I had to choose this one. So, LeAnn Rimes - Can't Fight The Moonlight

We only got 86 400 seconds in a day -- gotta live like we're dying

As I had five minutes to do something useless, I decided to log on here. And then I thought that I could just as well continue the challenge. So here we go...

Day 04 – Your Day

So today started, surprisingly, with school. I had German first thing. Nothing special. Then my mother tongue (not revealing what it is, ha ha), and then maths, which was nicely interrupted with dance practice. Which was a fiasco. Like not missing maths, but the practice.

We were supposed to practice our final surprise dance to the show next week, but it was a total disaster. The girls teaching it couldn't teach at all, and besides, it would've been kinda hard as they hadn't even finished the dance. Anyhow, it ended up with enormous frustration and anger and irritation and, well, you know. Everyone was just completely pissed off.

And added to that I'm suffering from great stress too. We have piles of school work to do (essays and projects and little quizzes plus normal homework), next week's going to be a mess, and I have way too much to do. This week I've been working again, and haven't had too much extra time, next week is going to be even worse. But then, thank god, a week's holiday!!! Can't wait.

Anyhow, after the practice I quickly went home, ate, and left to work. Nothing special there. I just wonder how come people send so many Valentine's Day cards. And besides, most of the cards seemed to be sent by women age 50+ to their children. Not really how I see Valentine's Day.

But, as I was supposed to only have five minutes, I'm really behind my schedule now. Shower, homework, food, chocolate (oh yes, please), maybe TV and then bed. So good night everyone!

The title: Kris Allen - Live Like We're Dying
P.S. I hope to write again as soon as possible. But it might be a week. But then I have lots to talk about!
P.P.S. I love the song. I know it's nothing new but it still is awesome.
P.P.P.S. Leave a comment. Haha. But seriously. Comments are always fun.

Sometimes we fall down, can't get back up,
we're hiding behind skin that's too tough.
How come we don't say "I love you" enough
'til it's to late, it's not too late.

Our hearts are hungry for a food that won't come,
and we could make a feast from these crumbs,
and we're all staring down the barrel of a gun,
so if your life flashed before you,
what would you wish you would've done..

Yeah, we gotta start,
looking at the hands of the time we've been given,
if this is all we got and we gotta start thinking,
if every second counts on a clock that's ticking,
gotta live like we're dying.

We only got 86 400 seconds in a day to
turn it all around or to throw it all away,
we gotta tell them that we love them
while we got the chance to say,
gotta live like we're dying.

And if your plane fell out of the skies,
who would you call with your last goodbye?
Should be so careful who we live out our lives,
so when we long for absolution,
there'll no one on the line.

I am not the kind of girl

Prepare. This is going to be long.

Three ways to win your heart?
A smile, a word, and food.

Last person you said "I hate you" to?
That'd be my brother.

Rain or sunshine?
In summer I can have both. Don't you just love running outside in your bikini when it's pouring?

Last stupid thing you said to anyone?
I say a lot of stupid things as I usually speak before I think.

Favourite movie?
Well there are a couple I like, including for example Love Actually (yes), 10 Things I Hate About You, The Day After Tomorrow and Armageddon.

Would you date someone who smokes?
No. I hate smoking. Not necessarily the people who smoke, but smoking. And the smell of it.

Would you have sex with someone you weren’t dating?
Nope. I need to completely trust someone before I can go that far.

If you could go on one date with any celebrity, who would it be?
Maybe Rupert Grint. He's a very talented actor and I'd like to meet him in person.

What’s your relationship status?
Single.

Hugger or kisser?
Don't really know. When it comes to friends I'm neither; I'm just not one of those who go around hugging nearly anyone. Not really my thing.

Are you happier single or in a relationship?
Well I wouldn't know about being in a relationship so I don't know, actually. But I'm happy single.

How important are looks?
It depends. I'm full of the modern society where it's all about looks. I hate how you're supposed to use make-up and dress like everybody else.

Would you rather date someone who was super-hot or someone who was nice?
In the end looks don't matter. Super-hot people can be total assholes.

Some random girl comes up to you and says “Who the hell are you?”. What do you say back?
Hi, my name is -. What's yours?

Are you spoiled?
No way.

Last person to see you cry?
Probably my mom or so.

Who/what made you cry?
Something. Maybe I was just tired.

Are most of your friends guys or girls?
Girls.

How long does it take you to get ready to go out?
Depends whether I have a bad-hair day or not?

What was the last thing you burnt?
My finger when I was taking a pizza out of the oven.

What color is the bra you have on now?
Beige.

Do you straighten your hair every day?
I kind of do almost every day.

Do you worry about the size of your boobs?
Sometimes, as they're not the biggest. But very rarely though.

Are you the typical girl who’s addicted to gossip?
Sort of yeah.

Did you ever spend all day/night getting pretty for a guy?
Desperately yes.

Did you ever cry during a romantic movie?
Of course. I'm the emotional kind.

Would you leave the house without makeup on?
Depends on where I'm going to. If I'm going running yes.

Are you a girly-girl, tomboy, or in the middle?
In the middle. I don't fancy jewellery, make-up or dresses, but occasionally I enjoy getting ready and dressing up.

What’s the most expensive piece of clothing you own?
That'd probably be my winter coat.

Do you wear sweat pants?
Yes, right now actually.

Do you know anyone who has lost their virginity?
Yes.

Have you ever ran into a door because you didn’t see it?
Who hasn't?

Do you like hugs and kisses?
Like I already said, nope. I'm not the type.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?
Well I've always kind of wanted to be a teacher. Though with both parents as teachers it's not the easiest dream.

Favorite non-sexual thing to do at night with a guy?
Sit at a campfire in a forest and talk.

When did you first start feeling older?
I haven't and I won't. I'm Peter Pan.

What do you hate about your school?
It's kinda ugly.

Ever have a sleepover with the opposite sex?
Well if you count camps then yes.

Do you use smiley faces on the computer a lot?
Too much. Not the most creative writer so it's easier to just use a smiley instead of words.

Is your best friend pretty?
I don't have a best friend, but I think everyone's pretty in some way. I actually do, not just saying it.

Have you ever changed clothes in a vehicle?
Yes.

Is your life simple or complicated?
Is anyone's life simple?

Are you easily confused?
Yep.

Are you taller than 5′4″?
Yes.

Is your current hair color mostly your natural hair color?
It's all natural.

Does everything really happen for a reason?
Well I want to believe so.

Who were you with last night?
Myself.

What woke you up this morning?
An ache in the stomach.

Where are you?
Home.

Is tomorrow going to be a good day?
Hopefully.

Did you kiss or hug anyone today?
Well as it is ten in the morning, no.

Ever thrown up in public?
Not really.

Passed out because of alcohol?
No.

Where would you like to live?
I actually like the place I live, though if I had to decide... I can't say, I'd live everywhere. Almost at least.

What kind of house would you like?
Well I'm fine with a terraced house, or a detached house.

How often do you log in Facebook?
Too often.

Do you like candy necklaces?
Who doesn't?!?!?!?

Do you still go trick or treating?
I've never done that.

What was the last thing you ate?
A sandwich.

Are you a fast typer?
Sort of, I think.

Chilling, watching TV, going shopping, meeting friends.

Have you ever moved?
A few times.

Have you ever won an award?
Yes. In sports and in school.

How many times have you eaten sushi?
Never, I've always wanted to try though!

What do you want to do right now?
Nothing.

Are you listening to music right now?
No.

Are you with someone right now?
No.

What's a word or phrase that you love?
I like the night. Without the dark, we'd never see the stars.

How long until your birthday?
11 days, yay!

What time is it now?
10.01. Early bird.

What makes you pissed off?
Hypocrisy.

Have you ever had a song written about you?
I don't think so.

What songs makes you happy?
Duran Duran - Hungry Like The Wolf. I don't know why. The tune's catchy.

What do you like to listen to before you go to bed?
Secondhand Serenade - Fall For You

Do you have a job?
Yes I do! And it's quite a nice little earner I can tell you.

What does your CD player have in it right now?
Taylor Swift's Speak Now. Not my own though, it's from the library.

Hair?
Has ADHD.

Piercings?
Nope. Not even earrings.

Tattoos?
Nope.

What taste is in your mouth?
Lemon tea.

Do you have a bad habit?
Chocolate. Way too much of it.

Is there a difference between the word 'best friend' and 'friend'?
To me there isn't really. I have good friends and friends.

Can you recall the last time you sincerely liked someone?
Nope. It's been a while.

Who is your celebrity crush?
Rupert Grint.

Can you touch your toes?
Yes?

Is silence really golden?
Sometimes.

Are you afraid to grow up?
Yes.

Yes.

Do you currently like someone?
Actually not.
