You know I love Christmas, I always will

It's about Christmas. I bought the last presents today, not very original though (chocolate, surprise surprise!). But as I am the worst present buyer in the whole universe, I can't be blamed. I did my best. When it comes to presents, my imagination just seems to disappear somewhere. Whether it's Christmas, birthday or whatever presents or souvenirs, people probably hate all of them. And I feel bad.

But, it's Christmas now and I'm happy anyways. Because who doesn't love chocolate? Anyhow, holidays started today and there's no school until January 9th. Haha!
Also, I've been working during the past couple of weeks and earned a pretty nice amount of money, and I might be able to continue working there occasionally.
Nice things coming up next year, for example this ball thingy in February - got the dress, heels, hair-do and everything. Just ought to learn the dances now.

Anyhow, that's all for now. We're going away for Christmas and there might be a short break with posts, but don't worry, I'll come back.

But that's that, MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone! And a great NEW YEAR 2011! (and don't get too wasted...)

And (you probably never could've guessed) the title Billy Mack (alright Bill Nighy) - Christmas Is All Around. In the honour of one the greatest Christmasy movies ever made, Love Actually. Love that one. But here it is.

P.S. Don't you just love that part which is in the title too: You know I love Christmas... Little extra syllable there.

I am not the kind of girl

Prepare. This is going to be long.

Three ways to win your heart?
A smile, a word, and food.

Last person you said "I hate you" to?
That'd be my brother.

Rain or sunshine?
In summer I can have both. Don't you just love running outside in your bikini when it's pouring?

Last stupid thing you said to anyone?
I say a lot of stupid things as I usually speak before I think.

Favourite movie?
Well there are a couple I like, including for example Love Actually (yes), 10 Things I Hate About You, The Day After Tomorrow and Armageddon.

Would you date someone who smokes?
No. I hate smoking. Not necessarily the people who smoke, but smoking. And the smell of it.

Would you have sex with someone you weren’t dating?
Nope. I need to completely trust someone before I can go that far.

If you could go on one date with any celebrity, who would it be?
Maybe Rupert Grint. He's a very talented actor and I'd like to meet him in person.

What’s your relationship status?
Single.

Hugger or kisser?
Don't really know. When it comes to friends I'm neither; I'm just not one of those who go around hugging nearly anyone. Not really my thing.

Are you happier single or in a relationship?
Well I wouldn't know about being in a relationship so I don't know, actually. But I'm happy single.

How important are looks?
It depends. I'm full of the modern society where it's all about looks. I hate how you're supposed to use make-up and dress like everybody else.

Would you rather date someone who was super-hot or someone who was nice?
In the end looks don't matter. Super-hot people can be total assholes.

Some random girl comes up to you and says “Who the hell are you?”. What do you say back?
Hi, my name is -. What's yours?

Are you spoiled?
No way.

Last person to see you cry?
Probably my mom or so.

Who/what made you cry?
Something. Maybe I was just tired.

Are most of your friends guys or girls?
Girls.

How long does it take you to get ready to go out?
Depends whether I have a bad-hair day or not?

What was the last thing you burnt?
My finger when I was taking a pizza out of the oven.

What color is the bra you have on now?
Beige.

Do you straighten your hair every day?
I kind of do almost every day.

Do you worry about the size of your boobs?
Sometimes, as they're not the biggest. But very rarely though.

Are you the typical girl who’s addicted to gossip?
Sort of yeah.

Did you ever spend all day/night getting pretty for a guy?
Desperately yes.

Did you ever cry during a romantic movie?
Of course. I'm the emotional kind.

Would you leave the house without makeup on?
Depends on where I'm going to. If I'm going running yes.

Are you a girly-girl, tomboy, or in the middle?
In the middle. I don't fancy jewellery, make-up or dresses, but occasionally I enjoy getting ready and dressing up.

What’s the most expensive piece of clothing you own?
That'd probably be my winter coat.

Do you wear sweat pants?
Yes, right now actually.

Do you know anyone who has lost their virginity?
Yes.

Have you ever ran into a door because you didn’t see it?
Who hasn't?

Do you like hugs and kisses?
Like I already said, nope. I'm not the type.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?
Well I've always kind of wanted to be a teacher. Though with both parents as teachers it's not the easiest dream.

Favorite non-sexual thing to do at night with a guy?
Sit at a campfire in a forest and talk.

When did you first start feeling older?
I haven't and I won't. I'm Peter Pan.

What do you hate about your school?
It's kinda ugly.

Ever have a sleepover with the opposite sex?
Well if you count camps then yes.

Do you use smiley faces on the computer a lot?
Too much. Not the most creative writer so it's easier to just use a smiley instead of words.

Is your best friend pretty?
I don't have a best friend, but I think everyone's pretty in some way. I actually do, not just saying it.

Have you ever changed clothes in a vehicle?
Yes.

Is your life simple or complicated?
Is anyone's life simple?

Are you easily confused?
Yep.

Are you taller than 5′4″?
Yes.

Is your current hair color mostly your natural hair color?
It's all natural.

Does everything really happen for a reason?
Well I want to believe so.

Who were you with last night?
Myself.

What woke you up this morning?
An ache in the stomach.

Where are you?
Home.

Is tomorrow going to be a good day?
Hopefully.

Did you kiss or hug anyone today?
Well as it is ten in the morning, no.

Ever thrown up in public?
Not really.

Passed out because of alcohol?
No.

Where would you like to live?
I actually like the place I live, though if I had to decide... I can't say, I'd live everywhere. Almost at least.

What kind of house would you like?
Well I'm fine with a terraced house, or a detached house.

How often do you log in Facebook?
Too often.

Do you like candy necklaces?
Who doesn't?!?!?!?

Do you still go trick or treating?
I've never done that.

What was the last thing you ate?
A sandwich.

Are you a fast typer?
Sort of, I think.

Chilling, watching TV, going shopping, meeting friends.

A few times.

Yes. In sports and in school.

What do you want to do right now?
Nothing.

Are you listening to music right now?
No.

Are you with someone right now?
No.

What's a word or phrase that you love?
I like the night. Without the dark, we'd never see the stars.

How long until your birthday?
11 days, yay!

What time is it now?
10.01. Early bird.

What makes you pissed off?
Hypocrisy.

Have you ever had a song written about you?
I don't think so.

What songs makes you happy?
Duran Duran - Hungry Like The Wolf. I don't know why. The tune's catchy.

What do you like to listen to before you go to bed?
Secondhand Serenade - Fall For You

Do you have a job?
Yes I do! And it's quite a nice little earner I can tell you.

What does your CD player have in it right now?
Taylor Swift's Speak Now. Not my own though, it's from the library.

Hair?
Has ADHD.

Piercings?
Nope. Not even earrings.

Tattoos?
Nope.

What taste is in your mouth?
Lemon tea.

Do you have a bad habit?
Chocolate. Way too much of it.

Is there a difference between the word 'best friend' and 'friend'?
To me there isn't really. I have good friends and friends.

Can you recall the last time you sincerely liked someone?
Nope. It's been a while.

Who is your celebrity crush?
Rupert Grint.

Is silence really golden?
Sometimes.

Are you afraid to grow up?
Yes.

YES.

Yes.

Do you currently like someone?
Actually not.

Never give up, it's such a wonderful life

Sorry I haven't had time to post anything new, but I've been really busy, working! I got this awesome (and well-paying!!) job and I haven't had any extra time lately, nor am I going to, another busy week ahead. But au revoir my loves, see you later!

A picture of heaven

Hey. I watched videos on Youtube today, and I thought I'd share my favourites there. These are all singers, awesome ones, though. These are not in order.

Sam Tsui
Awesome voice.

Mike Tompkins (pbpproductions)
He's so awesome, doing all his songs accapella. Wouldn't believe it at first, huh?

Christina Grimmie (zeldaxlove64)
The greatest voice. Can't wait to hear her originals!

Tyler Ward (TylerWardMusic)
Great covers with a bunch of others.

Megan and Liz (MeganandLiz)
The greatest!

So nothing more up this time, but hope you like these.

I go back to December all the time

It's December, finally. That means:
  • Christmas (can't wait!)
  • holidays (them either)
  • New Year
  • snow (love it)

Who doesn't love December?
December also means shopping for presents. And I must say that's not something I'm looking forward into, as I am really bad at buying presents. I can never think of things others would like. So I usually go with the traditional chocolate. Haven't heard anyone complain yet.
But as December also means nice weather (=snow) I'm going out now to enjoy some fresh air. Enjoy your December!

It's raining men

Okay, so a friend of mine dared me to post a Top Ten - male celebrities list. I thought this was an idea worth of considering, and well, here it is. And believe me, this was hard.

As my inner teenager is still (and probably will always be) very strong, this might be considered as somehow lame. But, no can do, here we go. Also, with the teenager in my heart, this list is the sort that changes quite often. But here it is, as it is right now.

10. young Heath Ledger
Slightly too olf for me... Rest in peace.
But the 10-things-I-hate-about-you -look, ahh...
He's my "bad guy".

9. Oliver James
Once again, he's just cute.

8. Jake Gyllenhaal
When he was younger. I mean, have you seen
The Day After Tomorrow?

7. Daniel Radcliffe
Cute. He just is.

6. Nick Jonas
Might not be the best looking, but I just can't resist curls...

5. young Tom Cruise
He'd be higher up if he was younger!

4. David Henrie
Yes, he's from Disney Channel. And yes,
he plays the geeky big brother. But who
can resist good-looking geeks?

3. Lucas Till
Cowboy. Okay maybe not but still.
I wouldn't mind a cowboy.

2. Taylor Lautner
Hottest one around. Really.
Love the muscles.
Wouldn't mind him at all.

1. Rupert Grint
Number one right now. And not likely to go down.
And what's more, I'm in love with Ron and
he represents Ron to me. Yes please.

Funny how you realise how some people just are not photographical at all. Photos don't make them look good, but once you've seen them in real life or on screen, they look way better.

Please don't take this too seriously. Don't think I'm the superficial teenager to do this kinds of list. I just thought it could be fun. And also, I was dared. And once I'm dared, I wont turn back. At least when it's nothing terrible.
But gotta go now. The title: The Weather Girls - It's Raining Men

I'm swimming in the smoke

Once again, I'm going to write about a friend. And this time I actually mean a friend. She's really nice and all, but. She's really competitive. And believe, it can get very annoying. Also, she seems to have this compulsion to having her "own" things. Which also can be terribly irritating.

So, something to begin with. She has chosen way too many courses to study. She keeps on complaining about how hard her schedule is, and wants everyone to sympathise with her. I've for example had to leave out a few courses I would have like to study because I know I won't have time, or energy, to complete them all. If you dare to mention this, she starts going off about how she wants to study everything. Well there you go, it's not my fault if you want to study everything, feel free to do it but don't complain. It's your choice, don't expect people to feel sorry for you. No offence or anything.

Also, she has this constant need to bring up things that she thinks are her own. I mean, don't we all want to have something that's like our thing, something others don't know about. Like a great song, movie or book, pretty much anything, but something none of our friends know about. Well that's completely fine.
But when you make a scene out of it, it definitely isn't. Yes go on, have your own things, but don't come bragging about them to others. It's not cool anymore if you have to make everyone know about your things. It makes you sound self-centred and lame. Again, no offence, but still.

Yet one thing (again). I hate when people don't watch or listen or do something just because it's popular. I mean, okay, if it just doesn't interest you. But refusing from something just because everyone else is up to it is, to my mind, just pathetic. And if you're not doing that something, don't brag about it. If you don't watch Twilight because it's a lame teen thing, okay, but going off "I'm so good and above everyone else because I'm not a teen because I don't watch Twilight" or so is not. Because that's what, it seems, to be behind it after all. The I'm-better-than-everyone-else –attitude. Seriously come out of the little box you live in and listen to yourselves.

But enough about whining about things. I'm getting tired of this myself. So guess I'll drown myself in the Harry Potter and think about something else for a change.

Raise your glass if you are wrong in all the right ways

I was just wondering whether people have just somehow ended up here, or whether they actually read something I write. So, here's a challenge:

Comment. Or give me some kind of a clue that you read (or didn't read) it. Also, I'd be more than happy if you gave me ideas to write about.

I don't think I need to tell you but anyways: Pink - Raise Your Glass

EDIT: I just read about Taylor Swift's Speak Now World Tour 2011. But, surprise surprise, she won't be visiting my country. Passing by quite close but not close enough. Just my luck. I've really been looking forward to her concert here one day, but I guess I'll just have to wait. Why does everything have to happen in the US? It's just not fair. The rest of the world is here too, in case you haven't noticed.

But anyhow, better get going now. Maybe I'll drown my sorrow to a nice cup of hot chocolate and Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix which I've been reading recently. I've been having the translated book in other hand and looking up every single word that sounds interesting (and I've actually learned new words!). Thanks to this I've realised how stupid my language actually is: everything sounds so much better when in English. It's actually been quite illuminating. If you get what I mean.

Here's a few examples about, well, languages. It's Hakuna Matata. There's quite a lot of these, but it was too much fun listening to them. Try them. At least a few. Which one's worst? There's a poll in the end, go vote!

Title: Alexander Rybak - Fairytale

I am a woman on a mission

Mission impossible. That's how I'd call my mission, which I've been on for quite a while now. Two years to be exact. And my mission is to find a perfect wool coat. Seems to be impossible.
I know, I'm a little picky. But, when I buy something, I want it to be something I could wear forever. Of course, at some point I'll get tired of it, but still. When I invest (and don't tell me buying a wool coat isn't investing, they're expensive enough, for me at least) I want to invest in something that has a good quality and actually think about my investment. And when I come across with my perfect wool coat I'll know immediately that it's the one!

I've had way too many clothes that I've bought 'cause they looked nice, wore maybe once and forgot to the closet. Of course, every now and then it's good to buy stuff on the spur of the moment, but still. I've bought way too many impulse buys in my life...

But I didn't really have anything more to say. English exam tomorrow, wish me luck!

But the title: Gabriella Cilmi - On A Mission

P.S. I bought a great pair of high heels yesterday. My first ones, to be exact. So far the closest thing I've ever had was a pair of ballerina shoes with a centimetre (that's 0,393700787 inches just to let you know) high sort-of-a-heel. So lets hope I wont fall when it's time to wear them.

I can't wait, I can't wait

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 was AWESOME. It was the best one so far, and I could've easily  sat there for another two and a half hours to watch the other part too. Too bad I'll have to wait six months! Not fair. And remember, I'm not one of those freaky people who go to the premiere wearing a which hat (or whatever they're called) and a cloak. Not quite.

Also, as I live here in middle of nowhere (okay maybe not, but anyway) I only now found out about Emma Watson's new hairdo. And I love it! Check it out.

Also (yes I'm fully aware that I just said that but who cares) I've always had a thing about Rupert Grint. He's just so sympathetic and cute in the movies, and well, that's how he seems to me. So maybe I should say that I have a thing about Ron (and I'm jealous of Hermione then...). Okay just joking.
But who possibly could say no to this:

But as you (hopefully) didn't guess the title this time:

I'm living a teenage dream

I'm so excited! For a change. And there's a good reason. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is waiting for me. In the movies, tomorrow!

Okay, and don't get me wrong. I'm not one of those Harry Potter forever -fanatics. But I like it anyhow. I know this might sound like a cliché, but I've kinda grown up with Harry Potter. I got the first book when I was ten - at least I think so. Because I can remember waiting for my eleventh birthday when I always hoped that an owl would fly in and give me the letter. I mean, who didn't wait for that? Nobody just wants to admit it...
Anyway, by the time the sixth book came out I couldn't wait for the translated version and I read it in English. Same with the last one. So I guess in some way you could call me a fan, but I wouldn't say that. But there's something about it.

Another "teen"-phenomenon I like is, big surprise, Twilight. But it's a different story this time. I remember a friend of mine telling about the books a few years ago, and I thought they sounded (to be honest) crap. Apart from Harry Potter I've never been really into fantasy. So I payed no attention to it.
Then, when the movie become such a hit, I thought that maybe I could go watch it. Besides, another friend of mine was desperate of seeing it so I promised that I'd go with her. After the movie I was dumbfounded. It was actually good. So I borrowed the books from the first friend I told you about and read them, also the last one which wasn't out in my language yet. It came out like almost a year after the first movie.
So, I like Twilight. But not because it's a teen sensation or the actors are good-looking - no way. I'm one of those who actually don't find Robert Pattinson attractive. Taylor Lautner is another story... I like the story, and prefer the books. The movies are good too, though.

I find it sort of problematic that I resist the mass-teen-phenomenon Twilight has become, but I actually like it. It seems that if you like it, you're straight classified as a blond-wannabe-teen wearing Team Jacob -T-shirts. No way. (And as you want to know, I'm on Jacob's side and always been, before Taylor Lautner became so good-looking. I think it's sad that so many Team Edward -teens changed to Team Jacob when the second movie came out. And I know this makes me sound like one of them and I'm furious because bimbo-teens stole my opinion, but that's not the case. I'm just saying. I've never really been a vampire-fan.)
So I tell you, that I like Twilight. I'm not going to lie just because it's considered lame liking it. But I also think it's lame that you won't see the movies or read the books just because of the phenomenon. I mean if the story sounds interesting you might as well check it out, not stick with the I'm-not-a-teen -attitude. So what if you are?

But one thing bothers me more than anything. The fact that many of the fans are like twelve or thirteen. The youngest one I've seen was ten. I mean, if you're that age there's no way you can understand the books that well and really like the story. Then it's more about the phenomenon. And the last book is definitely not for so young girls. (Why not guys too, but I know no guy who'd be reading Twilight.)

But enough about Twilight for now. I should be studying, so this was my excuse for staying out of it. But as i have to face it anyway, it could as well be sooner as it could be later. Harry Potter tomorrow!
And the title: Katy Perry - Teenage Dream. Hope you noticed the sarcasm there.

And the title, as if you didn't know

Baby you're a firework

For a change I thought I could actually write about something.
I've had a few rough days lately trying to cope with the people in my life. And now I'm talking about two people in particular.

Okay, so the other one first. Let's call her Mary. So Mary and I used to be good friends, pretty much best friends. But a year ago Mary moved to the other side of the country. We didn't see that much, only on weekends when she came home. But she had really changed. I'm not saying it was unpredictable, as the characteristics had been there before. Not that strong, but they were there, and they really annoyed me.
You see, Mary here is the most hypocrite person I've ever met. I can't exactly explain it, but she is. Like for example, she always says that it's okay if someone doesn't want to drink, but you can see from the way she looks at these people that she loathes them. Like they were somehow handicap.
Also, she is quite a princess. Now that she lives on her own she thinks that she's in charge of everything. She can't cope with her parents telling her what to do when she's home. Nor any criticism. Her parents are quite strict and she couldn't even imagine doing anything "forbidden" at home, but she judges others for being cowards. I can't help it but hypocrite people make me see red!

And this other person, let's call him Mike. Mike here is the most selfcentered person in this world. He thinks about nothing but himself, and he treats other people like they're pieces of litter he can spit on. He has no respect for others, and thinks himself as the owner of the universe. I just wonder how come someone can be like that for real?
But anyhow, trying to keep positive, and this song definitely helps in it. It reminds that everyone's important!

Katy Perry - Firework (is the title, too)

The battle's in your hands now

Hey everyone!
Thought I should get to proper posting now, but I'm too busy, so, instead I will just, once again, go with a few songs that I've more or less recently been listening to.

The Click Five - Addicted To Me

Awesome.

Duran Duran - Hungry Like The Wolf

I know it's old, but it's great!

John ME - Love Is My Drug

Once again: awesome.

Tyler Ward - Paper Heart

Beautiful.

Brooks & Dunn - Ain't Nothing 'Bout You

Great.

And, well, needless to mention, but of course I've been listening to Speak Now, Taylor Swift's new album. But thought I'd put up something else for a change.
But the heading:
Taylor Swift - The Story Of Us

Sunday 24 October 2010

You saw me start to believe for the first time

Hey. I just realised my last blog post was completely stupid. I was kind of tired when I was writing it, and it came out completely different than I planned. So, ignore it, don't read it, I'll write a better one later on. I won't delete it, but please ignore it.
Okay, so as I apparently am unable to write properly, I'll stick with music. It's easier, and I'm tired now too, so I suppose writing about something proper wouldn't be a good idea. So, I thought that I could gather my favourite parts of Taylor Swift songs, and maybe add a comment too...
So here we go. I'll go with the song order on the albums, so first album's first song first (that's a whole lot of first used in one sentence), second song next and so on.

You said the way my blue eyes shined put those Georgia stars to shame that night, I said: "That's a lie."

That's just something. Like how often, if someone compliments you, you just say something like: "Oh whatever." or "Oh well I don't know." Actually, if someone says something nice they really mean it, you don't that often go saying nice things to people randomly. So for once, why not say: "Thank you."

Tim McGraw

The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star.

Just imagine the feeling when you really, really care about someone and they don't feel the same way about you. Besides, the video is beautiful. She looks really hurt in the beginning.

Teardrops On My Guitar

I don't know what I want, so don't ask me 'cause I'm still trying to figure it out. Even though I'm not the only one who feels the way I do.

I thought I could pick up another line from this song for a change. All these songs about growing up just describe me so well, that they are important to me. The first line is exactly me, and the second just helps me realise that I'm not the only one lost here.

A Place In This World

I tried to take the road less traveled by but nothing seems to work the first few times.

Who wouldn't want to go their own way? I mean, I want to find my own way in this world, despite a little help is sometimes needed. Nothing seems to work for the first time when you try it, but being persistent enough you'll find the way. It might be a detour, or a shortcut, but you get further anyway.

The Outside

Seems the only one who doesn't see your beauty is the face in the mirror looking back at you.

Genius. I mean, you hear it everywhere, that you're good just the way you are. But somehow you actually start believing it once you listen to this.

Tied Together With A Smile

Don't you know you're really gonna be someone, ask anyone.

It helps you to believe in yourself. Really.

Stay Beautiful

I'm only me when I'm with you.

Exactly.

I'm Only Me When I'm With You

Well that's the first album. I'm going to stop now, as I suppose you got bored already. So I won't waste your time any more. Later!

But as usual, the heading (going with the theme):

Mine (thought it was needless to mention the artist)

People are people and sometimes we change our minds

So, getting to the proper posting now. This is why I started this blog in the first place... I'm writing about people today, certain kind of people. I don't know really how to call them, but I guess you'll figure it out.
Okay, so I really have to say that I hate people, who hate things just because they're popular. All like these "I don't want to see Twilight-movies because they're such mass teen stuff" or that "I hate all Disney stars because they're too... Disney". It really annoys me that people judge things without really getting to know them.
I have to admit, that I'm not a fan of mass teen things, either. But I've seen the Twilight movies and I'm not going to say I don't like them because they're teen stuff. I understand if you really don't like them, but opinions based on nothing... I just can't stand it.
And then there are these "I hate Justin Bieber he sounds like a girl" kind of people, and Facebook's full of groups such as "95 % of teens would freak out if Justin Bieber was about to jump off a bridge, like if you belong to the 5 % who'd eat popcorn, and shout 'Jump! Jump'". Like, okay, you don't like Justin Bieber, but is it really your problem if you think he sounds like a girl? I think he has a few nice songs, and I won't say I hate JB just because half of the world says Justin Bieber sucks.
And as opposed to that, there's people who just like something because everyone else does. I can't really think of an example right now, but well let's say that most of the world is going crazy about Lady Gaga's clothes. I think they're way too weird and you can't be exactly normal to wear something like that. And I'm not going to say they're lovely because they're fashionable. Who cares?

Nowadays people care way too much about what others think. I'm not one of those coolest girls in school, in fact, there isn't really one in our school. We have a great class, pretty much everyone's friends with each other even we're really different people. But no-one judges others, and I think that's great. I don't care about make up or don't really bother using too much time in the morning getting ready, and no-one looks at me like they'd be better people than I am. I wear my glasses, as I get a terrible head ache if I don't and I can't wear contacts, and no-one calls me lame. I do well in school and don't really care about partying and getting wasted, and no-one calls me nerdy. I suppose I'm quite lucky, but still... If you're not afraid to be who you are, people will respect you. If you show you're ashamed of yourself, you show others that it's okay to tell you you're not goo enough. That's just my opinion.

Speaking of which... I also get annoyed of these people, who take your opinions too personally. I mean, I might say I would never want to work as one of those people who call others trying to sell whatever magazines or so, but it doesn't mean someone else couldn't do it. That's like the only thing I never want to do, but it doesn't mean I'd hate all the people who do it. If someone wants to do that, go ahead, but don't come to me saying: "Oh, but if you can't get a job anywhere else, blaah, blaah, blaah." I. don't. care. It's not my problem, I don't have a job at all, and I'd rather be jobless than work as one of them.
I face similar incidents every day. I have strong opinions about many things, and it won't be easy to turn my head. But isn't it just good to have things to discuss about, life would be quite boring if we all agreed on everything.

And as I've done quite a bit of writing already, I guess I could still bring up one subject: hypocrisy. God I hate it more than anything. I have this one friend, as she's like the most hypocrite person in the whole world. At least it feels like it. She moved to the other side of the country last year, because she wanted to go this special school. And as you can guess, with a few teenagers living next door each other there's pretty much partying going on there. And I've been with her in a few, more or less, parties, anyhow people drinking. And she always says that it's okay if someone doesn't want to drink, no-one has to if they don't want to. Like me. But you can see from the way she acts that she loathes those people and their behaviour. Might sound like a pathetic example, but when a person builds up from hundreds of such things, it really gets to you.

But I'm getting tired now, so maybe I'll continue some other time.

Taylor Swift - Breathe

Who I am

Okay, now that I've given a little introduction about me through music, I maybe could tell something about myself. There's quite a lot more than you get from the lyrics.
I'll make a little list about who I am.
  • slightly perfectionist (as much as I'd like to deny it, I have to admit that sometimes the little perfectionist inside me takes over)
  • ambitious (connected with perfectionism, unfortunately)
  • have strong opinions about, pretty much, everything (usually I'm not too serious, though, no matter how serious I sound!)
  • I get annoyed (pretty) easily (no matter what the subject is, I have an opinion and there's something that bugs me. This will be an endless list, so I won't bother writing it here. You'll find out, sooner or later.)
  • just a girl (I just had to put it here - after all I'm just me, hoping that there's people who'll understand me)
And please, don't get last one wrong, I'm not one of those girls who are bullied or anything, nor am I one of the invisible people. I do have friends and everything, my life isn't miserable, but I just feel like I need some place to shout out what I have in my mind. I'm not really one of those people who tell everything to their friends - I rather keep my things to myself. But these, as they're no exactly secrets, I'd like to share with more people that just my friends. But lets see how this will get going.

And just to let you know, I will be using lyrics as my post titles, and I will always tell the song they're from at the end of the post. Now,
Nick Jonas & The Administration - Who I Am

Inside my head there's a radio station

So, I will start my blogging with a little musical introduction. Here are some lyrics that have inspired me, or that mean something to me. Anyhow, don't take it too literally...
I have absolutely no idea if anyone can bother reading the whole list, but take a look at few at least, they'll hopefully give you some kind of a clue about who I am.

I'm gonna break your little heart, watch you take the fall, laughing all the way to the hospital, 'cause there's nothing surgery can do when I break your little heart in two.
It might sound slightly radical, but there's something in it.

There's a story at the bottom of this bottle and I'm the pen.
I have absolutely no idea why this somehow clicks.

I just want you to know that I've been fighting to let you go, some days I make it through and then there's nights that never end...
Makes you think...

Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars? I could really use a wish right now...
Yes, I know it's a big hit now, but the line... It has a lot of meaning, doesn't it?

It's my life, it's now or never, I ain't gonna live forever, I just want to live while I'm alive.
Exactly.

I'm not a girl, not yet a woman. All I need is time, a moment that is mine, while I'm in between.
Yes, quite a cliché, but it really does help sometimes.

Near, far, wherever you are, I believe that the heart does go on.
Another cliché, but can you say something against?

When I saw you I knew you were the one, I want to orbit you like you're the sun. -- I'm like a puzzle with a missing piece, I got a car but didn't get the keys...
Gotta love the song!

Well, I never saw it coming, and I should've started running a long, long time ago.
Yet another line that I can't really explain.

Send it on, on and on, just one hand can heal another. Be a part, reach your heart, just one spark starts a fire.
Say whatever you wanna say, hate the singers or whatever, but the song is nice and the lyrics are meaningful.

Stay here tonight, 'cause when you're around me everything's right...
Once again, it just somehow clicks.

So walk a little slower and open up your eyes, sometimes its so hard to see the good things pass you by. There may never be a sign, no flashing neon light, telling you to make your move or when the time is right.
Again, you may say whatever you want, but this song was really important once.

You're beautiful, you're beautiful, you're beautiful, it's true.
Once you think about this in the morning when you're having a bad hair day...

Worlds are spinning round, there's no time for slowing down, so won't you take a breath, just take a breath.
Don't judge the artist, please.

If time was still, the sun would never ever find us, we could light up the sky tonight. -- We're chasing stars to lose our shadow, Peter Pan and Wendy turned out fine, so won't you fly with me...
Same as before. I just love this song.

You wanna show the world, but no one knows your name yet, wonder when and where and how you're gonna make it, you know you can if you get the chance.
In your face as the door keeps slamming, now you're feeling more and more frustrated, and you're getting all kind of impatient waiting...
We live and we learn to take one step at a time, there's no need to rush, it's like learning to fly, or falling in love...
Once again, a song about growing up. Wonder why they are so important?

I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly, I'll do what it takes till I touch the sky.
Make a wish, take a chance, make a change, and break away.
Out of the darkness and into the sun, but I won't forget all the ones that I love.
I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change, and break away.
Speaking of which...

Highway to the danger zone, ride into the danger zone.
The song's amazing, and there's just - once again - something about it.

You sit there in your heartache, waiting on some beautiful boy to save you from your old ways...
Awesome song. Also, I just have to put it here, though the lyrics have no meaning for me:
The Killers - Mr. Brightside: Awesome song. Perfect when you're feeling a little down. It does cheer you up, try.

When my time comes forget the wrong that I've done, help me leave behind some reasons to be missed. Don't resent me and when you're feeling empty keep me in your memory, leave out all the rest...
Love the song, and beautiful lyrics, too.

I want someone to love me for who I am. I want someone to need me, is that so bad? I want someone to love me for who I am.
Beautiful song, and love the lyrics and the video.

I'd like to make myself believe that planet Earth turns slowly. It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep, 'cause everything is never as it seems...
Again, I love the song. I have to say, I was really annoyed when it became such a big hit...

Oh, think twice, 'cause it's another day for you and me in paradise.
Beautiful song, and it has a message. It makes you think, that no matter how crap life may seem, there's always people who'd be more than eager to switch places.

A thousand miles seems pretty far, but they've got planes and trains and cars, I'd walk to you if I had no other way.
What can I say?

I'm going down, I'll be coming back fighting, I may be scared and a little bit frightened, but I'll be back, I'll be coming back to life.
That's the way.

But hold your breath because tonight will be the night that I will fall for you, over again, don't make me change my mind, or I won't live to see another day, I swear it's true, because a girl like you is impossible to find.
Beautiful.

People are all the same and we only get judged by what we do, personality reflects name, and if I'm ugly then so are you.
Once again, this used to be really important.

I'm just a girl trying to find a place in this world.
This is, as you maybe noticed, or not, on the description of my blog at the top of this page. Taylor Swift and her music are really important to me, and I could put a line here from pretty much all of her songs. But I guess this one's enough, for now.

Here's a song for the one who stole my heart and ran so far that cupid couldn't catch her.
There you go.

And the heading:
